A volunteer with specialized knowledge that I did not possess spent several hours solving a problem for me a few days ago.  I couldn't pay him—he's a volunteer—so I gave a donation to the group he
 
“I’ve been told you are opinionated.”
His “fiancé” wore high heels and lots of makeup. They sat in our “living room” which had flooring hauled from the dump behind the sawmill. The man was visiting because he needed someone to look after his property when he flew his private plane back to Texas. I declined, too busy. He made the remark quoted above. I thought―Me? Opinionated?  But soon I replied: “Maybe the world needs a few opinionated people.”  The following are a few of my opinions.
